Class view does not display classes in VC 4.0
Marty Wagner -- marty@concentra.com Monday, March 04, 1996 All of a sudden, the class view in my project stopped displaying my classes. When I expand the "gse classes" tree, I get one node that says "Project does not contain classes" I have no idea what I did to make the classes go away. Does anyone know how to get the class view back? Marty Wagner marty@concentra.com
Mike -- dodd@wilmington.net Tuesday, March 05, 1996 I had my entire makefile corrupted somehow. One fine morning I started up and it told me that the makefile was NOT created by Developer's Studio and that it would create a wrapper for me. The wrapper was just about worthless. I didn't bother writing to this group because I didn't think it was MFC related, so my solution was to recreate the project, drag/drop the relative resources, trap the messages (for classwizard's sanity), copy the .h and .cpp files over. It took an afternoon but it worked and I got the rare pleasure of weeding through and rethinking a project from the start. I don't know what happened to the makefile, I hope it does not happen again. If there's an easier way of reviving a 'corrupted' makefile please let us know. marty@concentra.com wrote: > > > All of a sudden, the class view in my project stopped displaying my classes. > When I expand the "gse classes" tree, I get one node that says > "Project does not contain classes" > > I have no idea what I did to make the classes go away.
