SCC Add-In interface for Visual C++ 4.0

I'm trying to find out the specs for the so-called SCC Add-in interface used
by Visual C++ 4.0 (and VB 4.0) to allow a source-code control system to
integrate into the IDE (cf. SourceSafe). MSDN mentions that this is
publically available, BUT WHERE !!!!.

Anyone able to help.

Regards,

     I think that MSDN is wrong. I saw a thread on the WINEXT forum
     (SourceSafe section) recently where the product manager (David
     Streams) said basically that it's not generally available because it
     would be too difficult to support (partly because it's not bulletproof
     and it sounded like time isn't going to be spent on improving it).
     Also, he asked opinions about using OLE Automation for implementing
     this API-like behavior which were generally positive, but he couldn't
     give a date as to when it might be available. He wanted to cooperate
     wherever possible, so you might contact him and ask about getting a
     copy. He said that the major IDE developer vendors have been given a
     copy of the specification. Anyway, depending on your application, you
     may be able to get a copy.

     Joe
