ClassWizard and CObject

ClassWizard is really helpful for creating subclasses of CWnd or any other
visual class. Is there any reason why it doesn't let you make a subclass of
CObject or any of the non-visual objects?
BTW I am using version 4.0

There's some amusing internal reasons, but no real _good_ techncial reason.
