Seeking 16 bit mfc/c++ sample code
Randy Dietz Rattlesnake -- randy@megalo.com Tuesday, April 01, 1997 Environment: Win95 Visual C++ 1.52c Hello, a year or 2 ago I tried to write an mfc app to display video, bitmaps, and play audio but a microsoft support person told me it'd be easier to do it outside of mfc. I had to get some real work done so I shelved the project but now the client is fired up so I'm trying to put together a demo. Does anybody know of sample code for an editor type app that will allow clickable hotspots to be added, dragged, sized, and deleted? The hotspots will be like buttons for playing video, audio, and images. Are there any 16 bit compatible shareware or commercial extensions for mfc which might help with my project? Is 1.52c the latest and greatest 16 bit mfc? If mfc still isn't a good tool for multimedia apps would it be cool to embed c code in the c++ code? intmedia@tiac.net Thursday, April 03, 1997 MFC 16 bit or 32 bit apps can play video, audio and show images. You can also create Clickable HotSpots and tie Audio, Video to it. What kind of an application are you trying to put together?
